Stocks vs Fixed salary

Anonymous author | 10mon

I got two offers recently, one is from SaaS company based in US and the other one is Series B startup in India. US based company is offering more fixed salary but the local startup offers good number of stock options although it is vested in 4 years. In your experience, which one should I take and is monetizing with esops i got quite realistic?

Research about the startup more, if you feel confident about the founding team and their idea. Take it... Taking a calculated risk now is better than regretting later.

I don't think so you'll hang around for 4 years in the Indian startup... Take the more money.

Anyone here climb up the Chain, from a role in Sales. Like an SDE 1,2?

I'm looking to connect with people who've been in sales over 3-4 years. Understand what carreer path they took once they started. Certifications or any necessary skills required. Does an MBA hold value when you already have work experience? Feel free to discuss here.
