Is it hard to get a chance to interview for PdM roles with ~1.5 yrs experience?

I have been trying to get interviews but it feels like every company requires a lot of experience. I'm not sure if the issue is with my profile or with the current situation of the market. I get calls for 2 companies for every 50 companies I apply to. Some HRs call me and confirm that they will set up an interview only to ghost me and ignore calls later. Why approach in the first place then?
