Career transition Data Scientist to SDE

Anonymous author | 9mon

Hi everyone ๐Ÿ‘‹, I'm 2019 pass-out. I've 2 year of experience in Data science and in these 2 years I've learned Model building, designing and deployment. Currently I'm planning to switch to SDE roles, and looking for a guidence/help. In the past 2 years i was using Python as main language, and have working experience in the Same. But I'm not sure if Python is preferable for SDE roles. I'm also comfortable in JavaScript and learning React and Node(MERN) stack. Please let me know your thoughts and help/guidence are always welcomed.

You can probably look at transitioning to a data engineer role

Actually I've found I'm more interested in building things. Other than that I'm to any other roles which requires more programming and problem solving.

It is not difficult, if you are looking for Frontend then prepare some projects using MEAN/MERN stack. In fact this way you can you can try for fullstack developer roles. And with some personal projects start giving interviews.
