Amazon Rumour

I have heard about amazon that managers need to fire atleast one employee per year on pip so as to maintain their positions. This mainly happens with the freshers or entry level engineers. Is this true?

I have never seen or heard that rumor atleast here..... In top of that we are always short of developers so i can't imagine managers firing someone just for the sake of it..... If you're performance is very bad...... Can't say anything in that case... Maybe

90 days Notice Period is bullying me

Hi guys, I'm a Software developer(Java) at an MNC for 3 years. Since last month I'm actively trying to make a switch but not getting much calls. If I do get calls then they hang up after learning about my notice period(90 days). Any idea how to deal with it, or any companies which will entertain my np. Please help.

I have a 1.5 years of working experience in TCS and looking for a switch into product basefd companies. Having had a support project - didn't learned much. Can someone suggest and guide on what an interviewer will look for in a candidate for SDE position as in Fipkart/LinkedIn? I have some fine projects showing my skillls in Spring Java Python and Django. I am okay with data structured and algorithms. I am good at communication. What more things should I refine? Please guide.
